The American Wagyu Association was established in 1990 with the goal of promoting and preserving the genetics of Wagyu cattle in the United States. Today, only a handful of Registered Wagyu Breeders are in the country, and fewer than 26,000 total Fullblood Wagyu cattle. We are top producers of fullblood Wagyu cattle and own our own Fulblood.
Our herd comprises some of the finest Wagyu genetics in the world, including genetics imported directly from Japan. Combined with superior genetics and our technology-driven, precision-based breeding and management practices, we produce the highest quality Wagyu beef available in the United States.
Our full-blood Wagyu cattle are certified by the American Wagyu Association and Australian Wagyu Association and are traceable back to their Japanese ancestors. We take pride in our herd and are committed to producing the highest quality Wagyu beef for discerning customers who demand the best and the highest quality genetics for sale in the United States.
The Wagyu breed has been known for its superior marbling and flavor since it was first introduced to the United States in the 1970s. However, it was not until the late 1990s and early 2000s that Wagyu cattle began to gain popularity with American beef producers.
Wagyu cattle are now prized for their ability to produce high-quality, intensely flavorful beef with a higher percentage of monounsaturated fats than other cattle breeds. This unique fat composition makes Wagyu beef exceptionally tender, juicy, and flavorful.
In order to produce Wagyu beef of the highest quality, it is essential to have access to superior genetics. Wagyu Evolution is proud to offer some of the finest Wagyu genetics in the United States.
